20 -- PROPULSION SYSTEMS SOL MDA911-95-R-0011 POC Sandra Smith, Contract Specialist, (813)840-5463; Chris Paddock, Contracting Officer, (813)840-5448 The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) intends to negotiate a sole source firm fixed price contract with MTU Detroit Diesel, 10450 Corporate Drive, Sugarland, Texas 77748 for up to twenty (20) ''propulsion systems''. Each system consists of a MTU 12 V 396 TE94 propulsion engine, ancillary equipment (including electronic control systems) and KaMeWa 50S11 Water Jets. In addition, up to ten (10) Mark V Special Operations Craft (SOC) Deployment Packages and up to ten (10) Major Shore Based Spares (MSBS) Kits associated with the propulsion system will be acquired. Training and technical services will also be included. The systems will be used in support of the MK V production craft procured under separate contract. See Note 22. (0037)
