The Environmental Protection Agency intends to solicite for a Laboratory Automation Workstation. The Laboratory Automation Workstation will be used for human biomarker research. The Laboratory Automation Workstation must include components such as a workstation platform, workstation controller, communication ports, interchangeable tools for the 1 to 1000 milliliter volume range, and microplate reader. This workstation shall be capable of handling large numbers of samples via ELISA-based procedures and/or large volumns (milliliter range) of samples via test tube-dependent procedures. The RFP will be issued approximately February 22, 1995. Proposals will be due 30 days after the RFP issuance date. Interested parties may obtain a copy of the solicitation by submitting a written request. Telephone and FAX request will not be honored.
