McBride, 334/953/3514 Purchase one modular computer automotive diagnostic system for the vehicle maintenance shop at Maxwell AFB, AL. The PC-based system shall have a minimum: 80486SX @ 25MHz central processor with 4 megabyte of RAM, drive units with a single 1.44 megabyte floppy and a 2X speed, SCSI interface CD-ROM, hard drive with 130 megabyte IDE, 14'' SVGA monitor with video card, two RS-232 serial ports and 101-key keyboard. Unit shall be powered by minimum 120 V AC, 60Hz, 7 amps, and be fully portable (maximum 300 pounds and approximately 44''H x 25''W x 20''D). Vehicle interface pod shall include all necessary connecting cables, software, PC interface board, inductive pick-up and cable, oil temperature probe and cable, vacuum line, timing light and magnetic timing probe. Four gas module that conforms to BAR 90 accuracy standards to include software, filters, sampling probe and hose. Unit shall have a service information system. Unit shall have pod that contains the electronics necessary to enable correct signal measurement of the vehicle's engine control system's components and circuits. A vehicle computer scanner system to be used either in conjunction with PC monitor or as a portable stand-alone diagnostic tool shall be included.
