A -- ROSETTA MISSION: SURFACT SCIENCE INSTRUMENTS FOR CHAMPOLLION SOL AO 95-OSS-01 POC Dr. Jurgen Raha tel: 202/358-0308 The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is interested in receiving proposals for scientific instruments for the Champollion lander, to be flown as a portion of the Rosetta mission to Comet P/Wirtanen. The Champollion lander is being developed jointly by NASA and by the French Space Agency Centre National D'Etudes Spatiales (CNES). The Rosetta mission will be jointly implemented by the European Space Agency (ESA) and NASA. Participation in this program is open to all categories of organizations both domestic and foreign: industry, educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, NASA centers, and other government agencies. French scientists should respond to the Announcement of Opportunity issued by CNES. A detailed description of the opportunity and guidelines for proposal preparation are available from: Dr. Jurgen H.
