Specialist, (202)501-3494, Chiquita Phillips, Contracting Officer,
(202) 501-0851 The General Services Administration (GSA) intends to
extend the GSA's Infonet Services Contract for Public Buildings Service
(PBS) ADP Support for the PBS Information System (PBS/IS) for an
additional 37 months, February 1, 1995 through March 31, 1998. PBS has
a requirement for continuous ADP support of the same quality and
capabilities for PBS/IS for thirty seven months. The PBS/IS operates on
Infonet in both an interactive and remote batch mode accessing a common
data base. The PBS/IS was developed almost exclusively in Infonet's
Proprietary languages, DML and GPS. It consists of 18 subsystems
totaling approximately 500,000 lines of code. Approximately 54% is DML,
29% is GPS, 16% is COBOL, with the remaining 1% FORTRAN. Due to the
fact that PBS/IS is critical to GSA's mission, it must continue its
operation without any disruption, degradation or delays of any nature.
All responses from responsible sources received within (15) days from
the date of publication of the CBD Announcement will be considered.
All responses must be in writing and contain sufficient information for
GSA to determine your firm's qualifications to provide the required
