The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Washington (FISCNORDETWASH) has a requirement in support of the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, Maryland for a laboratory testing contract for donor unit infectious diseases screening. In addition, Blood Components need to be available if required. The laboratory needs to be licensed by the FDA. Daily courier pickup to be provided Sunday through Saturday including holidays one to two times per day while maintaining the integrity of the specimens. The anticipated period of performance is a base year of twelve months followed by three one-year options. An additional option for continued service not exceeding 6 months will also be included in the resulting contract. Performance is to be at contractor's site. Proposals will be evaluated based upon low price/technically acceptable. (0037)
