Slana (Site Code DODAAC) PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: Work to be performed is to support the beddown on the new T-1 Aircraft, expected to arrive at Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi around January 1996. Work will be performed in three different areas of the Air Force Base: 1. Within the existing Flight simulator Building (268) the Contract is to install foundations and three floor structure to convert an open bay area (Terrain Board Model Room) into office space. 2. To the parking apron, provide tie-downs, repaint stripings, and modify the Centralized Aircraft Support System (CASS). Provide 28V modifications to facilities 454 and 456. 3. Provide new wash rack and interior modifications to the parachute folding shop (Building 862). Critical Path Method (Network Analysis System) is required. Bid documents are available on or about 14 February 1995. Costs are as follows: Plans half size $14.00. Specifications $35.00. Estimated cost of work is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Request for Plans and Specifications shall indicate in writing whether Firm will bid as a Prime contractor or a Subcontractor. Unrestricted.
