58 -- MODERNIZE-COMMAND CENTERS-INTERNATIONAL LOCATIONS POC Daniel Grejdus, Contract Specialist, 617-271-7595. Information is being sought by ESC on the availability and performance capabilities of existing air surveillance/airspace management systems that have been deployed and proven in verifiable operational applications. This information is being requested to permit ESC to update its database and benchmark available modern technology systems which may have applicability in future ESC implementation programs that require cost effective solutions implementable on accelerated schedules. Specific places of performance are unknown. Candidate systems should utilize modern technology hardware having demonstrable growth/migration possibilities to accommodate follow-on requirements, and open architectures which permit system extensibility and component replacement/upgrades without significant redesign. Desired attributes of the system are: integrated display of 2-D and 3-D search and beacon radar data from multiple radars, a multi-radar tracking logic based on use of the integrated radar data, capability to exchange track information automatically and manually with multiple external sources in accordance with defined selection criteria, general distribution of the system air picture to external and remote locations, flexibility to accommodate formats for track, flight plan and radar plot data selected to meet application needs, and built-in software capabilities to support data recording, simulation and training. At a minimum, the current candidate system must be capable of performing the core air surveillance functions such as: Multi-radar input processing and automated tracking, identification, flight plan processing, exchange of track information with external systems, air picture integration and presentation at operator workstations, and large-screen displays. The system must be readily extensible to provide full air sovereignty/air defense functionality and capabilities by virtue of the inherent hardware/software design approaches employed. Your response must identify where your systems have been fielded and are in operation. Provide locations of your operational sites and a point of contact. Your response should identify methods, standards, and documentation used in the design/development and performance verification of your product. Responses should be delivered to this office within 15 days of publication of this RFI. This office may invite follow-up papers, presentations or demonstrations on your existing system. Proprietary data should be clearly marked as such. This synopsis is for informational and planning purposes only. There is no funding available at this time nor is a specific program identified. Submit brochures, product literature, testing/verification method, catalogue pricing information, and user documentation to ESC/IAK, Attn: Daniel Grejdus, 50 Griffiss St., Hanscom AFB, MA 01731-1618.
