This acquisition is being conducted under the regulatory delegation of GSA's exclusive procurement authority. Interested sources are invited to identify their interest and capability to satisfy this requirement. Responses should be submitted within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this notice and should contain price quotations and convincing documentation (technical literature, etc.) indicating that it is advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered, to consider sources other than the GSA schedule identified above. A request for a solicitation will not be considered an affirmative response to this notice. All affirmative written responses will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the contracting officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended schedule vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent. If no affirmative written responses are received within the fifteen (15) day period, an order will be placed with Falcon Microsystems, Inc. (GTSI) on their GSA schedule contract GS00K94AGS5528 for the item. Interested firms may request the solicitation document but such requests will not be considered an affirmative response with regard to the government's determination to procure under the GSA schedule.
