Fundacion Para La Educacion Superior (FES Foundation), is implementing the Justice Sector Reform Program for the Government of Colombia (GOC) under USAID Cooperative Agreement No. 514-9002-A-00-2002-00, and intends to receive proposal for the supply, installation and developing of a computer data system including Hardware (Microcomputers, Servers, Local Area Network components and printers), operational software, and the development or adaptation of special software to meet the functional needs of the Prosecutor General's Office in Colombia, for its offices in the cities of Bogota, Medellin, Cali, Barranquilla, Bucaramanga and Ibague. The global implementation will take place in three phases: 1) pilot, 2) Bogota/Medellin, 3) Other cities. The specification documents are available in Spanish, and includes a magnetic prototype, which explains in detail the specs of goods and services hereby required. Only US source origin firms are authorized to obtain bidding documentation. Copies of the specifications will be provided by a nominal fee, $500 if delivered in Bogota and $600 if delivered to USA by courier. Interested firms should submit requests in writing up to February 17, 1995 including a check addressed to ''Fundacion FES''. As part of the evaluation process, the GOC has the authority to determine an otherwise successful offeror to be non-responsible. This decision may not be appealed. Joint-ventures are acceptable, however, FES does not anticipate making multiple awards. (0038)
