70 -- PROCUREMENT OF STERLING SOFTWARE LICENSE UPGRADES AND S/W MAINTENANCE SOL ATD-124-TA-95/0235 POC Contact Tom Antoniel, (205)544-5087 CSC intends to negotiate only with Sterling Software's Communications Division for the upgrade of a Connect Direct for MVS license from a Group 40 to a Group 80 Mainframe currently installed at NASA's ADP Consolidated Center (NACC) located at Marshall Space Flight Center, AL. CSC also intends to negotiate with Sterling Software for the continuation of software maintenance of said license through the period ending 30 September 1995. Interested persons have 15 days from the date of publication of this synopsis to submit their qualifications /capabilities (i.e.,technical specifications, brochures, and price list with proposed discounts) in the critical areas mentioned above. Such qualifications/capabilities/and pricing (with proposed discounts) will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received ''without the required information'' may be considered non-responsive to the synopsis. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this synopsis.
