Open-end Indefinite Quantity Architect-Engineer (A-E) services for
Cannon AFB, New Mexico for a basic contract period of approximately 12
months with one option period of 12 months. These services include
Title I A-E services for selected projects located at Cannon AFB, New
Mexico. Services may also include Title II services at the option of
the government. Projects may include design for new construction,
additions, alterations, maintenance and repair or combination thereof.
Projects may also include studies, community planning and other
architectural and engineering services. DOD's policy for selection of
A-E firms is based on the professional qualifications of the firm as
indicated by selection evaluation criteria. Selection for this contract
will be based on the following evaluation factors: (1) Experience on
projects similar to those listed above; (2) Technical qualifications of
staff and particularly of the design team; (3) Location of firm in
relation to Cannon AFB - firms, including all subcontractors within a
400 mile radius will be given primary consideration; (4) Ability to
produce a well-coordinated design and complete, accurate plans and
specifications. Firms with multi-discipline staff including at least
artitect, civil/structural, mechanical and electrical engineering
disciplines will be considered; (5) Ability to start work and complete
design within a tight schedule; (6) Ability to design within budget;
(7) Knowledge of DOD and USAF criteria; (8) Present workload of firm;
(9) Total dollar volume of recent DOD contract awards. One firm-fixed
price, indefinite quantity contract will be awarded not to exceed the
maximum amount of $200,000.00, with a guaranteed minimum of $5,000.00
in fees. Individual delivery orders may not exceed $99,000.00 each.
This requirement will be solicited unrestricted. Firms desiring
consideration shall submit current SF 254 and SF 255,
Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire, to include
information on the firm's principals as well as on proposed
subcontractors. Participation by minority and woman-owned business
enterprises is encouraged. Firms should indicate whether they are women
owned, small or large business concerns. Therefore, replies to this
notice are requested from all business concerns no later than 17 March
1995. Only firms submitting SF 254 and 255 will be considered. All SF
254 and SF 255 should be submitted to the 27th Contracting
Squadron/LGCC, Bldg 150, Cannon AFB, New Mexico 88103-5131. Firms
desiring consideration shall submit applicable data as described in
Numbered Note 24. All responsible sources may submit their
