The A-E will perform feasibility studies, conceptual designs, budget/construction estimates, and design alterations, maintenance, repair and minor construction projects. Projects are all located within the confines of Hurlburt Field. Multiple awards may be considered under this advertisement. Selections may be made for professionally registered firms in the state of Florida in the following categories: Architect-Engineers, Civil-Structural Engineers, Mechanical-Electrical Engineers, Geotechnical Engineers, Environmental Engineers and Land Surveyors. It is the responsibility of the firm to clearly indicate for which category they are submitting. If a firm desires to be considered for more than one, separate submittals are required. The following criteria will be used for the basis of selection: (1) Experience and technical competence of the firm in comparable work; (2) capacity of the firm to accomplish the work in the required time; (3) location of the firm in the Hurlburt general geographical area; (4) adequacy of qualifications of subcontractors and consultants; (5) past record performance of similar work for other Government agencies and private industry; and (6) the volume of work previously awarded to the firm by the Department of Defense. Firms desiring consideration must submit Standard forms 254 and 255 in duplicate and appropriate data as described in Notes 24 and 25 of this publication. Submitters shall strictly follow the guidelines of the standard forms, i.e. number of projects and projects within the last five years. Those not adhereing to these guidelines will be considered nonresponsive. The firm is guaranteed a minimum of $5,000 in fees. The firm fee for any one delivery order may not exceed $299,000 with the cumulative amount of all orders not to exceed $750,000. The contract term will be for one year from date of contract award. An option for one year not to exceed an additional $750,000 will be included. This is not a Request for Proposal. Type of contract will be an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity.
