The Naval Space Command, Dahlgren, VA, has a requirement for Multi-Spectral Imagery (MSI) on-site and off-site support for the processing and production of multi-spectral value added imagery products for Fleet and Fleet Marine Forces. The contractor must provide the following supplies/services for multi sensor imagery collection, processing, and dissemination: hardware and software support for multi sensor image processing, all source fusion, interactive and static 3d scene generation for naval mission planning and 3d mission rehearsal; full-time on-site support (up to 2 manyears each in FY96, 97 and 98); use and integrate commercial off the shelf (COTS) imagery processing software, Government off the shelf imagery processing software, and other advanced imagery processing software tools for modeling and file management; off-site imagery processing and production in support of contingency operations; specific consumables used in the production and evaluation of MSI data; all subscription and maintenance services for COTS software; maintenance on specific COTS hardware; integration of the MSI suite at Naval Space Command; and field support services when required. The contractor must be experienced in the operation, use, and configuration management of Silicon Graphics hardware and UNIX operating system and have the ability to install and maintain Ethernet and FDDI local area networks; the contractor will be responsible for UNIX system and network administration. It is anticipated that the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be released on or about 24 February 1995; proposals will be due 30 days after the RFP is released.
