Pre-Solicitation--Requirement consisting of Alternate 1: Leasing of approximately 69 black & white plain paper copiers, complete with maintenance and repair services; as well as maintenance and repair services for 18 Government-owned copiers of various brands and models; Alternate 2: Lease of 87 Contractor-owned copiers with maintenance; or Alternate 3: Lease of 69 Contractor-owned copiers with maintenance. Contractor to provide all consumables for the Contractor-owned and Government-owned copiers (except paper, transparencies, and staples). No subcontractor shall be utilized for the lease or maintenance of the estimated 69 Contractor owned copiers. A subcontractor, meeting the standards set forth by the contract, may be utilized for the maintenance and repair of the 18 Government owned copiers. Anticipate a firm fixed price, cost-per-copy contract for one year with four option years. The consolidated copy count for one year period is estimated not to exceed 4 Million copies for all machines. Potential grand total of contract (contract year plus 4 option years) is estimated between $100,000 to $500,000. The basis for pricing shall be cost per copy. Bid documents, IFB DAHA39-95-B-0002, will be available o/a 31 March 1995. Interested concerns should, as early as possible, but not later than 15 calendar days after publication of this notice, indicate interest in bidding as the prime, by providing evidence of capability to perform. Such evidence must include references for similar work, to include contract numbers, points of contact, and telephone numbers, and; if applicable, a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economicaly disadvantaged business concern. The Contracting Officer will use this information to determine if this solicitation will be set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) firms or issued on an ``UNRESTRICTED'' basis. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all interested business concerns as well as from SDB concerns. Replies must indicate the firm's size status such as Large Business, Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), or 8(a). The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 7359. The applicable small business size standard including affiliates is no more than $3.5 million average annual revenue for the previous three years. Note, there is a limited number of bid documents and they will absolutely be issued on a first request first issued basis.
