The work will include the following: (Approx. quantities) Filter Bldg. 42' X 32' pre-engineered metal bldg w/conc fndtn. Continuous backwash filter system. Lift Station. 20' X 16' pre-engineered metal bldg over 20' X 16' dry well. Adjacent 10' X 16' wet well. Trickling Filter. Const 4' high conc wall @ 4' distance outside of two exist 102' dia. trickling filters. Const alum dome covers over filters. Site Work. Const four artificial five acre wetland cells. Gravity Sewer: 80 LF - 18'' dia., 800 LF - 12' dia. Force Main: 2000 LF - 12' dia., 800 LF - 3'' dia. Crushed Agg Surf - 15,700 SY. Asphalt Surf - 600 SY. Woven wire fence w/2 strand barb - 500 LF. Seeding 30 Acre. The estimated construction cost of this project is between $2,500,000 and $5,000,000. Contractor's Quality Control will be a requirement in this contract. The Contractor will be required to commence work within 10 days after notice to proceed and complete the work 400 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Provisions will be included for liquidated damages in case of failure to complete the work in the time allowed. Performance and payment bonds will be required. Bid sets will be available on/a February 27, 1995. Half-size plans and specifications will be furnished upon request and receipt of payment of $45.00 per set (non-refundable) with check made payable to ''Omaha District, Corps of Engineers.''
