Fax No. 617-377-1156. This synopsis amends previous anouncement, Issue No PSA-1252; Thurday, December 29, 1994, Page 12. This project consists of the removal and replacement of the existing clean room structure with a prefabricated class 100 clean room at Bldg 1123 located on Hanscom AFB, MA. The principle items of work include but are not limited to the following: providing design services, labor, consulting services, materials and equipment as may be required for retrofitting and upgrading the existing Class 100 and Class 10,000 Clean Room in bldg 1123. Selection criteria include: cost, specialized experience in similar type work and design/build project experience, preliminary project schedule, plan for quality control, organization, specific personnel, subcontracting plan, in that order. The prime contractor must be a certified cleanroom installer and will be required to perform no less than thirty percent (30%) of the total contract with their own personnel. An exclusionary period will not be applied to the work. Much of the work will be required to be accomplished after normal; working hours. The magnitude for the entire project is between $100,000 and $250,000.
