This announcement is intended to find sources who can provide a trailer-mounted field latrine. The trailer-mounted field latrine is intended to pull from behind four-wheel drive off-road vehicles over rugged, unimproved areas. Specifications: Bin: 10 gal., approx. 3 cubic yard capacity with light weight plastic lids. Hitch/Tongue: 2'' ball hitch with surge brakes and back-up brakes, 3'' square steel tubing and hand crank swivel jack, heavy-duty safety chain with grab hook, and leveling bubbles. Axel: high clearance 8,000 lb capacity. Frame: 5'' structural steel channel, expanded metal deck, front and back safety legs, lights, reflecters, and flaps. Winch: mechanical bin return with automatic release.
