Officer. Indefinite quantity type contract to provide water service
line right-of-way surveying including mobilization, location of the
required horizontal control points, completion of pre-construction
legal surveying, preparation of plat maps, and completion of post
construction field monumentation at various locations within the Minot
OEH Engineering district. This district encompasses sites located on
the Fort Berthold and Fort Totten Indian Reservations of North Dakota
and the Standing Rock Indian Reservation of North and South Dakota. The
surveying and drafting is to be performed by a qualified surveying firm
with in-house state of the art surveying equipment and in-house
registered professional engineers and land surveyors. The selection of
the A&E Firm will be based on evaluation of the following criteria:
Qualifications of professional staff including professional engineers
currently registered or capable of obtaining registration prior to
award in the states of North and/or South Dakota. Specialized
experience and technical competence of the firm in the type of work
required, capability of the firm to accomplish the work in the required
time; location of the firm in the general geographical area of the
projects and knowledge of the locality of the project. Past performance
on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of
quality work and compliance with performance schedules. Those firms
that meet the requirements described in this annoucement and wish to be
considered are required to submit SF-254's and SF-255's. This
acquisition is totally set-aside for award up to 100% Indian owned
firms in accordance with 25 U.S.C. 47 the Buy Indian Act. Duration of
the contract will be for one (1) year after notice to proceed, with
four (4) year option periods. Responses to this synopsis must be
received in this office no later than 3:00 P.M. CST on March 10, 1995
