The Naval Sea Systems Command will be opening a technical library containing pertinent unclassified and confidential documents from the contract design phase of the LPD 17 Amphibious Transport Dock Ship Class. The hours of operation are 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. every Wednesday commending 1 March 1995. Access to the library will be by appointment only. Interested parties must submit a current DD Form 2345, a brief description of specific areas of interest in the LPD 17 program, and if access to classified information is anticipated, justification for need to know with a visit clearance request, name and phone number of the point of contact, and request for an appointment to Ms. Bourbeau at (703) 602-3104, ext 224. All visitors will be required to complete a non-disclosure statement prior to admittance into the library. Documents will be available for review and note taking only. Documents will not reproduced or made available for reproduction. The technical library is located at 2341 Jefferson Davis Hwy, National Center #4, Room 4W32, Arlington, VA 22242-5160.
