Finn (703) 640-2976 PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. This project is UNRESTRICTED. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC), for this project is 1711, Plumbing, Heating (Except Electric), and Air Conditioning. The size standard is $7.0 Million. The work includes upgrade HVAC systems by providing a new 40-ton chiller and using existing heat exchanger to supply dual temperature water to new fan coil units located in the barracks for heating and cooling, by providing new ventilation air to the rooms, and incidental related work. The total duration of this contract shall be 137 days. The projected date of availability of the solicitation is February 28, 1995. The projected bid opening date is March 30, 1995. Contractors within the local area are encouraged to pick up a copy of the plans and specs at the office of the Officer in Charge of Construction, Building 2004, Room 253, Quantico, Virginia. The hours of operation are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. There will be no charge for these documents, however, there will be only one set issued per contractor.
