38 -- CRAWLER DRAGLINE CRANE, 60 TON MINIMUM, MISSOURI RIVER AREA OFFICE, JEFFERSON CITY, MO SOL DACW41-95-B-0051 DUE 032795 POC Contract Specialist, Bonnie B Lowe, (816) 426-5443 The work to be performed consists of providing one (1) 60-Ton minimum, heavy duty cycle, direct drive system, crawler dragline crane. The crane furnished shall be equal to models sold to the general public and must have a minimum dragline/clamshell rating of 22,500 lbs., with a basic boom requirement of 50 feet and a minimum Power Crane and Shovel Association rating of 10-103. The crawler mounted crane and its accessories, attachments and components shall be ALL NEW AND CURRENT STANDARD PRODUCTION. This unit shall comply, in all respects, with the (1) Power Crane and Shovel Association Standard Number 4 together with the latest amendment thereto; (2) ANSI B30.56-1985 and sections 1910.180 and 1926.550 of U.S. Department of Labor Safety and Health Regulations; and (3) Corps of Engineers backstop regulations per SAE J-220. When equipped as a crawler dragline crane, this unit shall have a basic two section angle boom plus necessary inserts to equal 100 feet (inserts will be diesgned to allow boom assembly at 75-80 feet); fairlead, necessary counterweight, hoist and inhaul ropes, boom backstops, minimum 300 HP, two cycle diesel engine, with catwalk on the operator's side of upper. The upper unit shall be mounted on a lower crawler. Solicitations will be issued on or about 23 February 1995. Bids will be opened on or about 27 March 1995.
