Replace the KG-45 used in the LAMPS MK III Weapons System with the KG-65 in accordance with Navy Board of Inspection and Survey and the National Security Agency. This RFP will be transmitted through the SPAWAR Bulletin Board System (BBS). The RFP will only be available by calling the SPAWAR BBS, (703)602-9494, and downloading the RFP. The BBS operates at 14,400 BAUD with a setting of 8:N:1. The RFP will be in the following formats: Section A - WordPerfect 5.2, Sections B-L - WordPerfect 6.0, Sections L-M - WordPerfect 5.1, DD254, CDRLS, SOW and CBD Announcement Response - Word 2.0, SPAWAR-R-854 Specification WordPerfect 5.1, SPAWAR-R-854 Drawings Power Point 3.0. The file will be compressed by a shareware program, PKZIP 2.04G. The RFP file name is 95R0012.ZIP. To download this RFP, the prospective offeror will need at a minimum, PC or MAC with modem emulation software that supports VT100 or ANSI standing; a modem that operates between 300 bps - 14.4K bps and a minimum of 1.5 MEG free disk space. The RFP will be available O/A 15 days after the date of this publication in the CBD. Prospective offerors are required to supply the name and address of their company, the Point of Contact's name and phone number on the on-line questionnaire in order to be placed on the bidder's list. All others are also requested to optionally provide answers to a questionnaire on electronic contracting. Telephone inquiries for the RFP will not be honored. Offerors who would like a copy of the RFP must access the BBS. The BBS will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
