The contemplated contract will be for a basic period only. The work has two major components: replacing the existing internally mounted fuel probes and daisy-chain wiring with externally mounted probes and new wiring harnesses, and replacing the current analog fuel quantity indicators with digital indicators. The acquisition requires redesign of procedures, tooling, kit components, and a trial installation to validate procedures and data. One set of modified tooling will be required for use during kit proofing, and engineering support of the kit proofing effort will be required, as well as reprocurement data for both tooling and kit components.
