The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Patuxent River Md requires technical and engineering services to support the onsite and target and ocean modeling services to Airborne Antisubmarine Warfare Acoustic training devices, to support test efforts on new or modified acoustic trainers. This effort also requires technical and engineering support for development acoustic sensors and processors which will be implemented into trainers. The scope of the work includes independent analysis and technical studies, data processing, software development, management, engineering, technical and instructional services. This effort requires approximately 150,000 hours of labor, inclusive of options. This requirement is currently being performed by Veda Inc. under Contract #N00421-91-C-0070. The anticipated period of performance is for a base period starting 1 Jan 96, with the effort not to exceed five years. Requests of the solicitation shall be submitted in writing to the issuing office. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. (0040)
