The Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) Product Improvement Program (JDAM PIP) JDAM Program Office, ASC OL/YU, Weapons, Air Base, and Range Products Support Office, Eglin AFB, FL, is preparing to enter into a Concept Exploration/Demonstration (CE/D) Program for candidate Real Aperture Radar (RAR) seeker technologies with the potential to provide precision guidance capability for the JDAM weapon system. The objective of this program is to show the capability of RAR to provide JDAM with precision accuracy (3 meters or less circular error probable) against high-value, fixed targets in adverse weather, and for an affordable cost. A Conference with Industry will be held to outline updated precision JDAM requirements, objectives and schedules for ORCA, the current acquisition approach, and an overview of the JDAM PIP program. A brief question and answer session will follow. This Conference will be conducted on 16 February 1995, from 9:00 to 11:00 in Building 11, Room 203, Eglin AFB, FL.
