Potential Sources Sought: The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking qualified sources to consider an award of a contract for one (1) each Generator Air Cooler Assembly, P/N J-1452-00. The Air Cooler Assembly is used on the 378' WHEC Class Coast Guard vessels cooling system. The form, fit, and function of this Air Cooler Assembly must be exactly compatible with the system for which it is intended. It is the Government's belief that only Senior Engineering Company, Industrial Products Division, can provide the Air Cooler Assembly. However, other potential sources having the expetise and required capabilities can submit such data discussing the same in duplicate within 15 days from the date of this announcement. The following information must he provided to evaluate the acceptability of the offered Air Cooler Assembly: 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the accepetability of the offered Air Cooler Assembly (i.e., salient physical, functional and serviceability characteristics) or 2) Data that the offered Air Cooler Assembly has been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government or the original equipment manufacturer.
