Solicitation 8081 has been renamed to Solicitation No. 1434HQ-95-SS-0001. All OFFERORS WHO PREVIOUSLY SUBMITTED A REQUEST FOR SOLICITATION 8081 NEED NOT SUBMIT ANOTHER REQUEST. The U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement for the purchase of one (1) imagesetter with associated raster imaging processors, with the option to purchase two (2) more. The procurement is to provide common equipment meeting current imaging requirements to allow for identical type and quality images to be created at multiple sites, and provide high quality graphic output of text, maps, photographs and other illustrations. The delivery time is within 60 days from date of award. Contractors will be required to provide on-call maintenance. The proposed period of performance includes a twelve (12) month base year and four (4) twelve-month option periods for a total of 60 months - PENDING AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS. Installation, associated documentation, and training will also be required. The configuration of the imagesetter must be a total hardware and software solution to meet the specifications. A preaward operational capabilities demonstration (OCD) is anticipated. The contract specifications will be available with Solicitation No. 1434HQ-95-SS-0001. Solicitation No. 1434HQ-95-SS-0001 will be issued on or about February 24, 1995. REQUESTS FOR THE RFP MUST BE IN WRITING, TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED.
