SOL N62269-95-R-0018 DUE 040695 POC Point of Contact: Purchase Service Section, Code 84573, Ms. Fran Johnson, (215) 441-2683 NAWCADWAR is designated Software Support Activity for VH-3/VH-60 aircraft. Specific efforts are dependent on fleet generated requirements. Software in the Software Development Facility shall be made available as automated tools and test programs for development. The software Life Cycle Management function shall include evalua-tion of requirements, design, code, test, & proposed changes that arise during deployment phase. Efforts include maintenance of Navy documentaion (e.g., Software Development Folders, etc.), engineering analysis & test, qualification evaluation, meetings participation & presentations. A critical part of the contractor's effort shall be to maintain a team of engineers at site. A CPFF Level of Effort contract is contemplated (base year plus 4 one (1) year option periods), with approximately 51,000 manhours per year. A software capability assessment will be performed after receipt of offers in addition to normal evaluation. The contract will include a requirement that the principle place of performance for the required software support will relocate from Warminster, PA to Patuxent River, MD (BRAC activity in process) at some time during the 5 year performance period.
