Services to operate and maintain on a 24-hour, 7 days-a-week basis the nine (9) Naval Space Command Space Surveillance radar field stations located on a great circle path across the Southern United States from Georgia to California. Three of these stations are high power UHF transmitters, while the remaining six are sensitive receiver sites. The sealed bid will require a staffing level of 102 employees. Most of the employees required under this requirement are electronics technicians. Sealed bid N00178-95-B-1027 for the manning of all nine stations from a base year and four one-year option periods will be released approximately 28 February 1995. A bidder's conference, technical briefing, and tour of three representative stations is planned for the week of 27 March 1995. The itinerary will be contained in the solicitation. This sealed bid is 100% set aside for small disadvantaged business concerns.
