The types of support required under this contract include program management, engineering analysis, engineering research and development, software development and test and evaluation support. The program management support and test & evaluation (T&E) of the P-3/EP-3/S-3/ES-3 aircraft, includes laboratory, ground and in-flight evaluations on new systems/software and /or modifications to existing systems/software, system design, aircraft integration, technical analysis, data management, flight C, quality assurance and aircraft scheduling to meet all current tasking. Another major element of this T&E effort is the overall analysis and coordination of program schedules to ensure efficient utilization of limited assets. This contract is intended to provide the Fixed Wing Maritime Surveillance Branch with the necessary supplemental engineering, technical and management support required to effectively perform T&E of VS/VP platforms. This will be a Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract with Cost Plus Fixed Fee Delivery Orders. There will be a Base period with four Option years having a potential level of effort up to 572,074 man hours. Any Large Business Contractor will be required to team with a Small Business/Small Disadvantage Businesses for a portion of this effort which will be identified in the solicitation.
