Turnkey Construction of Mid-Rise Senior Citizen Housing Development building at Richard Allen Homes. The Philadelphia Housing Authority (PHA) is soliciting proposals from developers to enter into a contract to: (a) purchase a specific site from the Philadelphia Housing Authority, (b) design and build 80 new housing units for the elderly, and (c) sell this development to PHA. This Mid-Rise Building is to be a public housing deveopment not to exceed eighty (80) one bedroom dwelling units, with a senior center, management area, maintenance area, medical clinic and a complete dining facility located on the first floor of the building. Note: Pre-proposal site visit is presently scheduled for February 28, 1995, 10:00 A.M. Eastern Standard Time, at the Manager's Office, 1015 Parrish Drive, Philadelphia, PA 19123. Note: The estimated total value of the contract is anticipated to be in the range of $3,000,000 to $6,000,000. Note: Contract award can only be made to pre-qualified contractors or offerors. Although not a condition of bidding, it is strongly advised that a pre-qualification application be obtained, completed and returned to the Pre-Qualification Division prior to submission of a bid/proposal.
