The intent of this contract is to provide accessible restrooms that can be operated year round. The existing roof will be modified and incorporated with the new hip roof system. The contract consists of constructing two 24 feet by 20 feet additions to the existing Bessey Bath House. The existing flat roof structures over the restroom portion of the Bath House shall be removed, and the flat roof over the center poriton of the building shall be removed. The concrete slabs in the restroom shall be removed, and all plumbing fixtures shall be disconnected and removed. New electrical and plumbing lines shall be installed from the transformer pad and water distribution point. New 2X6 framed walls shall be constructed once the new foundation walls and slab have been completed. New trusses will be added to the Hip-Room system. New shingles will be installed over the complete structure. New accessible fixtures will then be installed. (040)
