Solicitation is for replacement of 6 GLU-LAM girders of varied lengths and depths, bearing pads, deck and rails on fire damaged 8 foot wide single lane bridge. Removal of existing damaged bridge components is also required. The project is located by traveling south from the town of Leavenworth, WA on County Road 76 (Icicle Road) approximately 4 miles to the Snow Lakes Trailhead. The bridge crosses Icicle Creek and is located 200 feet from the trailhead along the old road slope from the trailhead parking area. Estimated start work date is 05/01/95 with 9 days contract time. Bonding is required. Davis-Bacon wage rates apply. Government estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. See Note Number 3. (038)
