16 -- INTEGRATED DEFENSIVE ELECTRONIC COUNTERMEASURES SOL N00019-93-R-0038 POC Contact, James E. Funkhouser, Phone (703)604-6100 The Navy has defined a program, Integrated Defensive Electronic Countermeasures (IDECM) to enhance survivability of tactical aircraft from RF/IR threats. Major portions of this RFP were described in two previous Requests For Information released in January, 1994, and October, 1994. A full-and-open competition will be held to select the best solution for IDECM. The Navy intends to solicit proposals from qualified vendors for a single vendor to fulfill the IDECM requirement. Updated program schedules will be provided with the RFP. The RFP will be provided on 3.5 inch computer disks only. Due to the classified nature of the RFP, requests must include the information necessary to transfer ''SECRET'' level classified information. Based on current Navy plans the solicitation packages would be available for pick up or mailing on March 6, 1995. The unclassified portion will be available at room 176 at 1411 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Arlington, Va 22243. The classified portion will be available at room 240 at 1421 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Arlington, Va 22243.
