The Iowa Army National Guard wishes to procure an Engine Dynamometer. The dynamometer shall have a rated power of 2500 HP continuous operation at 4000 rpm. Award will result in a firm fixed price contract. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to the Iowa Army National Guard within 90 days of contract award. The following are the significant factors and their relative order of importance to the government: Compliance with the technical requirements, maintainability and reliability of the product including availability of repair parts, experience with the production of this type of equipment, price, compliance with regulatory agencies (EPA, DNR, OSHA, etc.) requirements for the equipment including installation as well as construction of the required enclosures, and training program. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this action is 3559 with a small business size standard of 500 employees or less. Solicitations will be issued on or about 3 March 1995.
