The purpose of this announcement is to solicit prospective offerors comments to the Draft RFTP that will provide for Worldwide Life-cycle logistics support, upgrades, and expansions for Northern Telecom, Inc (NTI) Integrated Digital Telecommunications Switches (IDTS) located throughout the world. The IDTS consists primarily of NTI SL-100/DMS-100/DMS-200 Central Office (CO) and Meridian 1 Private Branch Exchange (PBX), associated peripherals and transmission media equipment. This is not a formal RFTP, it is only intended to obtain comments from prospective offerors and is to be used for informational purposes only. The Air Force does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this request, nor will we pay for the information requested. Comments provided by prospective offerors regarding all aspects of the proposed acquisition will be considered in the development of the final RFTP. The final RFTP will be announced prior to issuance in the CBD.
