Specialist, 202/267-3605 The FAA intends to place a delivery order
against a GSA Nonmandatory Federal Supply Schedule, Group 70 for the
following ADP equipment for the FAA mail replacement project. 2 each US
Robotics TC Chassis (ENET managed) includes NMC. 2 each TI Card (DUAL)
need 1 per chasis. 12 each QUAD Digital 28.8 modem card. 1 each Total
Control SW with NMS (1 per LAN). 2 each 19'' Fan tray. 4 each
Digiboard PC 8E for LANS. 4 each 8 PORT DB25 cable. 24 hour Service
on-site install and testing (hourly charge). 1 each maintenance, total
control assurance program (includes 48 hour replace parts, phone
support, updates, for 1 year coverage). Offeror is to bid on all or
none. Vendors who can furnish the items are requested to submit, in
writing, within 15 calendar days from the first date of this notice, a
substantive statement clearly stating the ability to fulfill this
requirement. Substantiveness would be indicated by a statement of
exactly what hardware and software is offered, firm pricing, delivery
schedule, discount terms, business classification or size, and f.o.b.
destination, and federal tax identification number. Responses to this
notice with GSA schedule pricing shall include GSA Contract Number and
expiration date. If no responses are received, a delivery order will
be placed with the GSA schedule contractor in accordance with the terms
and conditions of the GSA schedule contract. When a response is
received from another schedule vendor for an item(s) that meets the
requirement at the lowest overall cost, a delivery order will be placed
against that schedule contract. When a response is received from a
non-schedule vendor that meets the requirement and an analysis
indicates that a competitive acquisition would be more advantageous to
the Government, a formal solicitation will be issued. The following
statement: ''All responses from responsible sources will be fully
considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of
intent, the contracting officer may determine that a solicitation will
be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be
published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended
schedule vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent
