The Crotty Creek project will have all the drilling and sampling on land. Abutment areas of the project, structure centerline, the emergency spillway locations, and several wetland retention areas all have to be drilled and sampled. The following are the major items of work: total of 820 estimated linear feet of drilling in un-consolidated material, 120 estimated total feet of rock coring, rock pressure testing, collection of 14 undisturbed samples, and collection of compaction bulk samples. Bid packets will be available February 27, 1995. A site showing will be held on March 14, 1995 at 10 a.m.. Interested parties should gather at the Village Hall in Seneca, Illinois.
