This Agency proposes to procure for maintenance of 8 each Power House Diesel Generator Systems (2-Cummins, 3-EMD GMCs, and 3-Caterpillars). The Standard Industrial Code for this procurement is 7629; the small Business Size Standard is $5.0 million. Location of generators is Santa Cruz and San Nicolas Islands, for the Naval Air Weapons Station at Point Mugu. Maintenance consist of a 2,000 hour prevention maintenance service, quarterly diesel fuel analysis, routine and emergency repair service calls. This is a Firm Fixed Price/Indefinite Quantity type contract. The duration of the contract is for one (1) base period plus four (4) options periods. The proposed solicitation is being considered as 100% set aside for Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns. Bids from concerns other than Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns will not be considered.
