Professional land surveying services are required for the monumentation and posting of National Forest boundaries. This project consists of record research, 4 corner search, 1 control survey, 15 each corner monumentation, 5.8 miles of marking and posting, 2 each maintenance of existing corners and one job records and reports. This project is located on the Colville Ranger District, Colville National Forest, Stevens County, Washington. Estimated contract time is 360 days. Interested and qualified firms are invited to respond by submitting forms SF-254, SF-255, and supplemental narrative and samples as follows: (1) Give a brief description of steps you will use to complte a project of this type. (2) Describe your corner search process. (3) What measurement and observation techniques will be used to ensure compliance with contract specifications? (4) Some examples of land survey problems you have encountered on similar projects and how you resolved them. (5) How will corner monumentation be accomplished? (6) How will marking and posting be accomplished? (7) How will control survey be accomplished? (8) How will you accomplish the research needed? (9) Name, Registration Number, and percentage of time the Professional Land Surveyor in charge of the project will spend on each phase. (10) Submit a copy of a recent survey plat that is representative of your cadastral survey work. (11) Will you use GPS on the project and, if so, describe your experience utilizing this process.
