SPACE INDUSTRY REVIEW (FORMERLY: SPACE AND MISSILE SYSTEMS CENTER DEVELOPMENTAL PLANNING INDUSTRY REVIEW) Members of US industry and government agencies are invited to attend the 1st annual Space Industry Review to be held at El Toro Marine Corps Air Station, Santa Ana, CA on 22 and 23 March 1995. The Space Industry Review has evolved from the annual Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) Developmental Planning Industry Reviews of the past seven years. The National Security Industrial Association (NSIA) sponsors the Review, with the support of the Air Force Association (AFA), the Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association (AFCEA), and the American Institute of Aeronautics & Astronautics (AIAA), and with the coordination of the USAF Space Command (AFSPC), the SMC, and Phillips Laboratory (PL). The review is designed to keep the civilian and government technical community apprised of activities and plans for future space programs and management. There will be briefings by representatives of AFSPC, SMC, and PL on the Air Force Modernization Planning Process, the Mission Area Plan Process & Products, the Development Plan Process & Products, the Technology Planning Process & Products, Core Competencies and Science & Technology Investment, and Seven Strategies for Space--the Way Ahead (formerly known as Reinventing Space); reports from industry and Department of Defense representatives of the Seven Strategies for Space committees; and a panel discussion of the Seven Strategies for Space topic, Partnership With Industry.
