The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center intends to solicit under the authority of 46 U.S.C. 2109 for CHT removal services in support of the USS SAMUEL E. MORISON's participation in the 1995 Great Lakes Cruise. It is anticipated that CHT removal services will be required both in port and underway in the following locations: Ogdensburg, NY; Cape Vincent, NY; Hamilton, ONT; Port Colburne, ONT; Port Huron, MI; St. Ignace, MI; Milwaukee, WI; Muskegon, MI; Chicago, IL; Sault Ste. Marie, MI; Superior, WI; Cleveland, OH; Erie, PA; Oswego, NY. CHT removal services will be required starting late June 95 through August 95. The SIC is 4959. The proposed RFP will be issued on or about 06 March 95, as a firm fixed price service solicition. Exact closing date will be specified in the solicitation. Requests for the solicitation must state that neither the requester nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive a contract from any Federal agency.
