Installation of a new heating and ventilating system in Building 72 and incidental related work. Specific items of work include, but are not limited to, installation of new gas fired heating and ventilating units on roof; installation of new air distribution system and routing ductwork to avoid interference with existing lights, sprinklers, etc.; routing new gas line from existing gas supply riser to new heating and ventilating units and replacing existing gas meter and regulator, providing power to new heating and ventilating units; removing and reinstalling portions of existing ceiling to install new ductwork. installing new exhaust fans on roof; providing temperature control system for new heating and ventilating units; demolishing existing roof top equipment; removing portions of asbestos roofing to install new ductwork pentration; removing asbestos contaminated soil from crawl space and other work as required. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. The requirement is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000. The small business size standard applicable to this contract is 1711 and the annual size standard is $7.0 million. Contract duration period is approximately 210 calendar days.
