Harvey, (205)235-7558 Contractor shall furnish two (2) air-driven diaphragm pumps and one (1) set of filter plates to be government installed and used in conjunction with an existing Passavant Filter Press presently in use at the Industrial Waste Treatment Plant (IWTP), Building 520, at Anniston Army Depot. Diaphragm pumps shall be designed for handling heavy sludge and slurries for the IWTP operations. Pumps shall be air-driven, positive displacement type, with air cylinder assisted diaphragm return mechanism. Pumps shall be self-priming having 20 foot suction lift capability. Proposed filter plates shall be polypropylene, rubber coated, steel reinforced recessed type. Plates shall be designed to be compatible with existing filter press and be suitable for an operating pressure of 250 psig. Proposed plates shall be capable of processing 25 cubic feet of cake per cycle (press's current capacity). Contractor shall also furnish diversion plate for filtrate and feed hole alignment and all associated pipework for filtrate drain manifold. Two Each. Deliver within 90 days after contract award date to Anniston Army Depot, Anniston, Alabama 36201. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered.
