Notice of intent to place an order against GSA non-mandatory schedule contract #GS00K94AGS5002 with Data General of Irvine, CA, for TIMS minor fuunctionality enhancements. The purpose of this task is to provide software enhancements to the TIMS application. This task will include adding minor functionality enhancements to the TIMS application. Included enhancements will be the modifications to the MX, TDP Gen and GRPSEL applications. These applications will be modified to take advantage of new database capabilities as will as evolving software technologies. Additional enahancements include the integration of new device drivers for interfacing with telemetry data front-end processors and the support of the IRIG 106-93 TMATS standard. Additional minor enhancements include modifying over 100 TIMS modules to update the data access methods to a centralized approach. Any other sources desiring consideration are required to provide the following information within 15 days of the date of publication of this synopsis: (1) GSA contract number, if applicable, (2) documentation/technical specifications, (3) Delivery schedule, and (4) Prices. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis of intent will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent or otherwise request of copy of the solicitation. If after analyzing responses to this notice, the Contracting Officer elects to place an order against the synopsized GSA schedule contract or a responding contractor's GSA schedule contract, written notification of the award will be provided to all parties responding in writing to this notice.
