Raymond, Contracting Officer, (805) 277-3900 Ext 2285. Notice of intent to place an order against GSA non-mandatory schedule contract #GS00K94AGS5002 with Data General of Irvine, CA, for PC TIMS. The purpose of this task is to host the major functions of the TIMS application on the PC. This effort will include the porting of the TIMS NRT, MX and TIMS' basis OSF MOTIF application currently running under the Data General AViiON platform. Additional responsibilities will include using the ORACLE FORMS and JAM 4GL currently being implemented by Data General on the AViiON to support the PC environment. The PC implementation will be a scaled (performance) capability with full database interchange with the AViiON application. The cuurent TIMS source code will be used, and as much commonality between the two platforms will be maintained as possible. Any other sources desiring consideration are required to provide the following information within 15 days of the date of publication of this synopsis: (1) GSA contract number, if applicable, (2) documentation/technical specifications, (3) Delivery schedule, and (4) Prices. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis of intent will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent or otherwise request of copy of the solicitation. If after analyzing responses to this notice, the Contracting Officer elects to place an order against the synopsized GSA schedule contract or a responding contractor's GSA schedule contract, written notification of the award will be provided to all parties responding in writing to this notice.
