Notice of intent to place an order against GSA non-mandatory schedule contract #GS00K94AGS5002 with Data General of Irvine, CA, for TIMS training and support for Eglin AFB. The purpose of this task is to provide support to the Eglin AFB TIMS operating staff for the implementation and operation of the TIMS System. The training will consist of advanced functionality of TIMS to include setup and operation of Near Real Time (NRT) display in graph and bar modes, data recording and playback, measurand reporting, and raw data analysis. Any other sources desiring consideration are required to provide the following information within 15 days of the date of publication of this synopsis: (1) GSA contract number, if applicable, (2) documentation/technical specifications, (3) Delivery schedule, and (4) Prices. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis of intent will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent or otherwise request of copy of the solicitation. If after analyzing responses to this notice, the Contracting Officer elects to place an order against the synopsized GSA schedule contract or a responding contractor's GSA schedule contract, written notification of the award will be provided to all parties responding in writing to this notice.
