This is an amendment to our CBD announcement published 9 February 1995, subject: A-E Services for Investigative and Design Expertise for Intrusion Detection Systems, Other Automated Control Systems & Miscellaneous IDS Studies. This CBD is amended to include factor 5 and 6. These factors are: (5) STATE PAST PERFORMANCE ON CONTRACTS WITH GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AND PRIVATE INDUSTRY IN TERMS of COST CONTROL, QUALITY OF WORK and COMPLIANCE WITH PERFORMANCE SCHEDULES. This proposed contract is a firm-fixed-price indefinite delivery order, therefore, cost control is not of prime importance in the evaluation of this contract. Firms with unsatisfactory past performance evaluations (poor or below average) will not receive consideration for award of this project. (6) LOCATION IN THE GENERAL GEOGRAPHIC AREA of THE PROJECT AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE LOCALITY OF THE PROJECT, PROVIDED THAT APPLICATION of THIS CRITERION LEAVES AN APPROPRIATE NUMBER of QUALIFIED FIRMS, GIVEN THE NATURE AND SIZE OF THE PROJECT: NOT APPLICABLE. After the sentence ''...factors 3 and 4 which are of equal importance, it should say, ''... factors 3 and 4 which are of equal importance. Factor 5 is of the least importance.'' Also, the reference to Note 62 should read Note 24. The original closing date of this announcement is also amended to be close of business 30 calendar days from the publishing date of this amended announcement with ''day 1'' being the next day after publication.
