sought synopsis F42610-95-R-AAAAC. The Government intends to establish
a contract for Continuous Engineering/Technical services required to
provide sustaining engineering support for Silo Based ICBM systems
managed by the System Program Office at Hill AFB UT. Example of the
types of engineering sustainment services to be provided includes
project engineering, assessment, logistics, hardness, test and
evaluation, data analysis and reporting, deployed force activities,
data system, and safety engineering. These types of tasks will be
performed in support of the Minuteman (LGM30) and Peacekeeper (LGM118)
missile weapon systems and support equipment. The majority of this
effort will be directed towards supporting guidance and control
systems, ground and test support equipment; Trainers, and data systems,
i.e., both hardware and software, that were either designed by, and/or
built by Rockwell. This also includes supporting interface activities
involving the mentioned equipment. A Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF)
Contract type is contemplated. Item 0001 Continuous sustaining
engineering in support of Minuteman AVE, test and ground support
equipment, including hardware and software. Work is to be performed at
OO-ALC, Anaheim, and AGMC. Work may include temporary projects a
various test sites. Item 0002 Continuous sustaining engineering in
support of Minutemen III Trainers. Work is to be performed at
Contractors Facility. Item 0003 Continuous sustaining engineering in
support of Minuteman Guidance unique to Vandenberg AFB. Work is to be
performed at VAFB. Item 0004 Continuous sustaining engineering in
support of Peacekeeper AVE, test and ground support equipment,
including hardware and software. Work is to be performed at OO-ALC,
Contractor facilities, and AGMC. Work assignments includes providing
temporary support at test sites, operational wings, and other
contractor facilities. Fourteen other items to include
travel/subsistence, material, computer services and data. Period of
performance is one year beginning 1 Oct 95 to 30 Sep 96 with two one
year options to extend. Don't request information on this requirement
until after the issue date. Requests for copies of solicitations must
reference the entire solicitation number, including purchasing office
identification number. To expedite your request, limit the number of
solicitations requested per letter to not more than 10 each. It is
suggested that small business firms or others interested in
subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described
procurement make contact with Rockwell International. Initial
production of solicitations will be based on in-house needs, source
list requirements, early synopsis responses, and anticipated additional
requests ( based on similar acquisitions). After release of the
solicitation, requests will be processed on a ''first-come,

shall be considered. The proposed contract action is for supplies and
services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with
only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR
6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to
respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent
is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals
received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under
an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this
synopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the
Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses
to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose
of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The
